Terms of Use
These terms set the conditions for using PVdesignEYA (pvdesigneya.com, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
- The Service is a web tool that helps with the module layout and energy yield forecast of solar power plants. It is currently an early version (Beta) and is provided free of charge.
- Features may change or stop without notice. We will announce important changes in advance where possible.
2. What you must not do
- Disrupt the operation of the Service, send large numbers of automated requests, or get around its security measures
- Infringe the rights of others (copyright, trademarks, personal information, etc.)
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
3. Your content
- You keep the rights to the boundaries and exclusion zones you draw, your inputs, your project files and your community posts.
- The Service uses this content only as needed to provide the Service (sending e-mails, creating reports, showing posts) and for the purposes stated in the Privacy Policy.
- You must have the rights needed for anything you enter or upload.
4. Results and reports
- Layouts, energy yields, losses and reports produced by the Service are forecasts based on your inputs and public weather data, and the results are not guaranteed. They do not replace an independent expert assessment; please have them checked by an expert before any investment, construction or financing decision.
- Reports issued by the Service are for personal reference only. They must not be used for commercial or comparable purposes, including submission to financial institutions or investors, nor distributed or sold to third parties. If you need such use, please contact us.
- Do not remove or change the cover, the usage notice, the Report ID or the source notes of a report.
5. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided free of charge as an early version, without any warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from the use of the Service or its results, except for damages caused by the operator’s intent or gross negligence.
6. Community
- Authors are responsible for their posts.
- Abusive, discriminatory or defamatory posts, advertising and spam, other people’s personal information, content copied from others without permission and unlawful content are not allowed. The operator may hide or delete such posts without notice.
- If a post infringes your rights, please send us the post and the reason. We may hide the post temporarily while we check.
7. Maps and external services
- The English version uses Google Maps and the Korean version uses Kakao Maps. Maps and satellite images are protected by the rights of their providers and data suppliers; the attribution shown on the map must not be removed or hidden.
- By using Google Maps in the Service you agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- When you use Kakao Maps, the Kakao terms of service also apply.
- Saving or copying map screens or satellite images for use outside the Service is governed by the terms of each map provider.

Trademarks: Module and inverter manufacturer names and model names shown in the Service (for example JinKo, LONGi, Trina, JA Solar, Huawei, Sungrow, Qcells) are trademarks of their owners. The Service is not affiliated with these companies; preset values are reference values based on public datasheets, so please check them against the latest datasheet. PVsyst is a trademark of PVsyst SA, and the Service is not affiliated with PVsyst SA. The PVsyst export file follows the open exchange format PVCollada.
9. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the new terms and their effective date are posted on this page at least 7 days in advance, or 30 days in advance for important changes that are unfavourable to users.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes about the Service are settled by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
